Barcelona was extra special for me. It was an absolutely gorgeous city and one that I could very happily live in. But the special part was meeting a special friend. Through our mutual love of photography, we met online on a photo sharing community. Now i know it sounds slightly weird meeting online! However, we did and through our photos we got to know each other over about 3-4 years. Getting the opportunity to meet Cris and her lovely man Albert was definitely a highlight of the trip!

Cris & Albert's house is such a gem! It is so unique and homely. And their backyard is perfect . . . and it even has an outdoor shower!

Next was park Guell. Gaudi's quirky and awesome park with a wonderful view over the city.
Biking along the waterfront in Barcelona is a must!

Well there it is. Our European Summer of 2013 has been completed!!
